The daily use of planners teach students organizational and study skills. The planners (aside from a subject area section) include an area for weekly spelling/vocabulary words, weekly goal setting & daily parent/teacher communication. It's important for the teachers that the planners are all the same so we can model and teach organizational and study skills in an effective manner.

"Camp Skeeter" is a week long 'camp' that is set up in the 1st grade classroom, each student decorates a t-shirt and the kids wear their shirts every day! The Booster Club funded the t-shirts for this event.

Fall 2023 As part of the Accelerated Reading program Elbert Schools rewards our amazing readers with field trips. The Elbert Booster Club was a sponsor of the event.

Chili Bowl Fundraiser - On December 13th the Elbert Booster Club partnered with the Elbert School Art department to raise funds for a new slab roller. The slab roller will be used for future clay projects.

4th and 5th grade students attended High Trails outdoor Education Center
for a 2-day/1 night program. The Discovery Programs are designed to meet Colorado 4-5th grade standards.
